Extracurricular activity of two and a half hours that we propose to carry out periodically for children from San Martín de Valdeiglesias and surroundings. The activity takes place in an outdoor climbing sector, close to the town, on the banks of the San Juan Reservoir, the place is truly idyllic, the Sierra de las Cabreras in the distance accompanies us while we climb.

The objective of these outings is for the little ones to enjoy climbing and nature, presented as a game , as a stimulus and as a learning challenge.

The first encounters with the rock for the children will represent the first contact, later they will gradually become familiar with the following aspects:

– Use of climbing equipment

– Management of fear and emotions

– Climbing body positioning or in other words: How will we use our body to climb the rock?

– Coordination, balance, self-awareness of their own body

Each boy and each girl has their times and concerns and that is why the educational team attends to them so that they feel at home.
